Let me tell you the whole story.

I love this system.

Not because it is perfect. It is not. But because it is the closest thing we have ever built to a world where you get to decide what your life looks like. Where you can support what you believe in, trade freely, build something out of nothing, and yes, make a little money while you do it.

Here is the part nobody wants to say out loud. A whole lot of what gets blamed on capitalism is actually the government. And a whole lot of the freedom we celebrate today exists because somewhere along the line, somebody figured out how to make it pay.

Take Pride. People love to argue about it. But think about why it shows up everywhere now. It is not a conspiracy. It is commerce. Businesses are in the business of making money, and they figured out how to celebrate people in a way that sells. That is not the villain of the story. That is the whole point.

You want proof? Look at May. May is Military Appreciation Month. Our veterans deserve every bit of that and more. But it never went big the way Pride did, and the honest reason is that nobody cracked the code on making it profitable. The free market celebrates loudly what it can sell. The day we figure out how to make honoring our veterans good business too, you will see it on every storefront in America. That is not cynical. That is the engine, and that engine has lifted more people out of poverty than any system in human history.

So I made a shirt.

A proud little pig in a top hat and a bow tie, with a rainbow on his nose, because the freedom to be exactly who you are and the freedom to build exactly what you want come from the same place. A free society. A free market.

I am a proud capitalist. It is the system that gave a plus-size guy from Orlando the freedom to point a camera at himself, tell the truth about travel, and build a business out of it. It is the reason I get to wake up and do what I love, and the reason I get to spend my life on the road instead of stuck behind someone else's desk.
